  1. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaay-um! Can you say BANGER?! Skent Dukes! I’m steady watching you because this is a jam! I LOVE the beat! And, you sound gooooooooooooooood! I totally stopped listening to the lyrics close to the 2nd verse, because I was too busy listening to the beat, the voice and picturing myself in a drop-top with this blasting out the speakers. Do dat ish!!!!!

  4. okay..I usually don’t read the other comments before I do mine because I don’t want thier influences. Today I wanted it thou for curiousity’s sake. Alot of you might not agree with me but I’m gonna say it anyway. It sounds like everything else out there. Very sample heavy & typical lyrical content. If that is okay with you cool. Personally, I think hiphop needs something new & unique. This would be great on any mixtape…and its def a head banger…good for a club mix. Def on the right track…sounds hi quality but will it stand out and hold its own. Doubt it..

  5. Jadamour, I agree with you. It is sample heavy and contains typical lyrical content. My thoughts exactly. When I first heard the song, the sample reminded me of Gorilla Zoe’s song “Hood Ni**a”. I was not a fan of that song at all. However, with the beat, flow and sound of Skent Duke’s; I gave him a pass. The song is definitely something mainstream and clubs will enjoy. Unique to what else is out there? No. But, for what is “expected” today in hip hop, it will fair just fine. As far as originality, something new and unique…I could say we haven’t heard anything like that since Indie Wenzdayz popped off. I’m not backtracking on my original post. I am just letting you know that your points are valid, strong and I agree it is not original. And, nice to know I’m not the only one who doesn’t like to read anyone elses comments before posting my own. =)

  6. I am not really feelin this type of music. The beat is a banger and would probably sound good on some mixtape stuff. This kind of reminds me of what is currently played on top 40 radio. I am more into classic hip hop style stuff (eg. Statik Selektah, DJ Premier, etc.).

I do get down on some club stuff when I am in the club, but I wasn’t feelin this track overall.
