Rap was a voice when we didn’t have one.. what it has “Evolved” as you say, into now is pure rubbish. its all about money now and even in money rap has falling from first in the late 90s early 2000s to 5th to monetization. beating out Classical, jazz and seasonal music.. and you called that evolving??

    My god, that is so fucking stupid. Rap MUSIC has evolved. Lyrically, production wise, song structure, the melodies…etc. You are basing your entire opinion on…what? album sales? Rock Music went from being considered “dead” to being the #1 genre in sales. That is purely based on the culture at the time, popularity of genre’s is constantly changing. That has nothing to do with rap MUSIC evolving as MUSIC.
    So please stop acting like you have a goddamn clue about what you are talking about.
