JDP is a gifted, independent hip hop artist out of Chicago, doing his thing. Here’s another Indiehiphop caliber emcee you gotta check for.
1. Which female came the closest to being a top 5 emcee?
I feel like Lauryn Hill would’ve had that spot if she hadn’t retired. She was the illest.
2. If you were approached to do a reality show, what would be the name of it?
The Green Room experience, 10 people, one never ending kush cypher, last one to taps out wins a free basket of Red Lobster biscuits.
3. Would you sign a deal with Cash Money Records if they required that you get a platinum grill?
I don’t know about that one fam, would I have to actually have to wear the grill at all times or just go buy one cause I can do the latter.
4. White Sox or Cubs?
Southsider, Sox all day.
5. Give me a sick rap line you wish you had written. Who wrote it?
Damn, its so many. But I’ll roll with “I’m not afraid of dying, I’m afraid of not trying, everyday hit every wave like I’m hawian” the homie Jay-Z
Here’s his single, from his project, ‘Air Raid’, called “I was on it”.

ok, wait…hoooooooooooold up! that song was sick! and, why does it sound so good with the laker/orlando finals as the backdrop? i put the tv volume on mute, so i could listen to the song. i’m certain all the players are ballin’ to the beat. well, it sure looks like it to me. jdp, the hook is ridiculous and i like it. incredibly catchy. i can see the kids doing all those crazy, fast dance moves to this. i can see the older hip-hop heads talking about their days as a youngin’.
